Henley remembers victims of terrorism

A MINUTE’S silence was held at Tuesday’s meeting of Henley Town Council for the victims of the terrorist atrocities around the world.

Mayor Julian Brookes proposed the tribute in the wake of the second terrorist attack in France in 12 days.

On Tuesday, a priest was murdered as he was celebrating mass in a Rouen church.

Two weeks earlier a man drove a truck into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day in Nice, killing at least 84.
