Residents asked for pollution solution

RESIDENTS of Henley and Watlington will be asked for their views on vehicle emissions in the towns.

RESIDENTS of Henley and Watlington will be asked for their views on vehicle emissions in the towns.

South Oxfordshire District Council is to carry out doorstep interviews and there will also be stalls and exhibitions in Henley town centre.

The levels of nitrogen dioxide in some Henley streets are 50 per cent higher than Air Quality England’s target limit of 40 micrograms per cubic metre, which has sparked concerns about the effect on residents, particularly young children.
