Access to vineyard

A RIGHT of way over Fair Mile in Henley has been granted to a man planning to plant a vineyard.

Henley Town Council made the decision based on legal advice that this would not set a precedent as “special circumstances” applied.

It means Andre Verwey will have access over a grass verge to the land, adjacent to Orchard Farm, which is used currently for grazing horses and sheep.

He already has planning permission for a 4m-wide access from Fair Mile.
