Barn refused

PLANS for a 23x9m barn to store straw at a Wargrave farm have been refused.

PLANS for a 23x9m barn to store straw at a Wargrave farm have been refused.

Wokingham Borough Council said applicant David Rixon couldn’t prove the site at Lower Rivermead Farm in Willow Lane was solely on agricultural land.

Mr Rixon said the building, which would be 7m tall with a sloping roof, would be used to keep the straw dry for use as bedding for cattle.
