Hall toilets ‘spruce up’

THE toilets at the Woodclyffe Hall in Wargrave are to be redecorated.

THE toilets at the Woodclyffe Hall in Wargrave are to be redecorated.

Parish councillors agreed to the “spruce-up” at the request of organisers of a wedding party to be held at the High Street hall next year.

Parish clerk Stephen Hedges said: “They have suggested they would be happy to decorate the toilets themselves before their wedding.

“The suggestion is not to take up their offer but to use our own staff to get this done. It won’t be full-blown because we will look at the hall in its entirety soon but we can do a bit of a spruce-up.”

Councillor Philip Davies said: “I don’t want to spend much money on it at all — just make it look presentable.”
