New bollards

THE road markings at the junction of Station Road and Reading Road in Henley have been repainted.

Oxfordshire County Council, the highways authority, has also replaced the two bollards on the traffic island near the junction.

These were destroyed when a car ploughed through them at the end of last year.

Henley’s county councillor David Nimmo Smith said: “I hope that drivers are more careful in future as the cost of continually renewing them comes out of council tax.”
