Warnings on hedges

LETTERS are to be sent to two residents of Peppard whose hedges are overgrown.

Oxfordshire County Council has threatened to cut one hedge in Gallowstree Road and charge the owner for the work.

Another warning is to be sent to a householder in Blounts Court Road.

In October, Peppard Parish Council chairman David Hammond said residents who didn’t cut their hedges could be billed more than £3,000 if the work had to be done for them.
