THE results of a survey to determine housing needs in Henley and South Oxfordshire will not be released until next month.
More homes than originally thought could be demanded as a result of the survey, which was due to be completed this month.
The Government asked all housing authorities, including South Oxfordshire District Council, to carry out a “strategic housing market assessment”, to determine need.
Any additional housing would be on top of homes allocated in the council’s core strategy for towns and villages for the next 13 years. Henley’s original allocation was 400.
It is not clear what effect the results of the survey will have on the neighbourhood plans that are due to go to referenda later this year.
