Play area hopes rise

PLANS for a play area on the top common in Peppard have moved forward.

The Nettlebed and District Commons Conservators, who manage the site, have told the parish council they have no objections.

The council is now waiting for a response from the Fleming Estate, which owns the land.

Permission is required from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to build a fence around the area.

The council has said it will consult residents and carry out a feasibility study.
