... and the toddler playground is getting a makeover too

THE toddler playground in Henley is in need of refurbishment, according to families who use it.

The town council is planning to update the facility in Mill Meadows and held two public consultations by the Leichlingen Pavilion on Saturday and in Market Place on Wednesday.

Families were shown a display board of designs and asked what features they would like to see added to the playground.

People also filled in a questionnaire about how they use the area, safety issues and how it could be improved.

Mayor Stefan Gawrysiak, who chairs the council’s Mill Meadows sub-committee, said: “The feedback will be put to a small working group which will look at it and then make a decision on the design.”
