New road to separate cars and dog walkers

A NEW road may be created on King’s Field in Wargrave after complaints from dog walkers.

Drivers currently access the field from the east through a track off Blakes Lane.

However, the road goes through the field’s dog walking area and there have been complaints that some drivers leave the gate open after driving through.

At last week’s Wargrave Parish Council meeting, members suggested creating a new road from the other side of King’s Acre and agreed to install a gate on that side.

Chairman Richard Bush said: “We would like to keep the dog walking area secure so the suggestion has been made to come in from the other side and keep the dog walking area separate.
