A COMMITTEE which oversees the Watlington Pavilion and sports field has been reshuffled.
The Watlington Parish Council committee will now be made up of four parish councillors, two representatives of both the football club and cricket club and one representative of both the darts club and the Aunt Sally club.
Councillor Tony Williamson said the changes were needed in order to developing a viable business plan for the sports club.
But Watlington FC chairman Paul Griffiths said the new composition of the committee amounted to “dissolving” the sports club.
He said: “We see this as completely unfair. We have no powers and no control to deliver our development plan.”
