Pub plan delay

A DECISION on plans to turn a former Henley pub into a house has been delayed.

South Oxfordshire District Council says it is still considering an application by Brakspear to convert the Rose and Crown in New Street, which is Grade II listed, into a six-bedroom home. The pub shut in September.

The plans, which are opposed by Henley Town Council, are now likely to be considered by the district’s planning committee meeting in either April or May.
