Boundary move poll

FLIERS are be delivered to every home in Peppard encouraging residents to give their views on a review of the parish boundary.

South Oxfordshire District Council has recommended the boundary stays as it is after the parish council and neighbouring Sonning Common Parish Council disagreed over where a new line should be drawn.

Both councils wanted to take land from the other but when the district council responded by suggesting that 160 homes be moved from Peppard to Sonning Common this angered residents of the former.

Peppard Parish Council then decided to demand the boundary stays as it is and the district council agreed, despite having previously said that this would be “unsatisfactory”.

Residents have until May 31 to take part in the consultation. Email cgr@southand vale.gov.uk or write to: CGR, legal and democratic services, South Oxfordshire District Council, Benson Lane, Crowmarsh Gifford, Wallingford, Oxon, OX10 8ED.
