Two-way traffic returns to Bix

THE A4130 at Bix has been re-opened to drivers coming towards Henley.

A contraflow system is in place to allow a two-way movement of cars and light vehicles. This is expected to remain in place for 20 weeks while repairs to the 2.5km stretch of dual carriageway are completed.

Lorries and vehicles wider than 2m will continue to be diverted via the A4074 and A4155 and vice-versa.

Temporary width restriction control points are in place at Lambridge Wood Road and the Nettlebed roundabout to prevent non-permitted vehicles entering the contraflow.

The existing one-way operation in Rectory Lane, White Lane and Old Bix Road, within Bix Village, will remain in place.
