Residents given say

THE Sonning Common neighbourhood development plan working group has been meeting with residents to discuss the first draft of site proposals.

Councillor Barrie Greenwood, who chairs the group, told a meeting of Sonning Common Parish Council on Monday that three invitation-only meetings with residents had taken place at the village hall to listen to any concerns.

He said: “We have found it very useful, the residents have found it very useful. They have applauded the ability to talk face-to-face about issues and concerns they have.

“We will be amending the proposals where suitable in relation to those concerns. We are still talking to developers and landowners.”

The working group is also working through feedback from the scoping report consultation, which ended on May 19.
