Kebab van operator wants licence back to sell in car park

A KEBAB van could return to a car park in Henley.

Mohammad Seylani-Zader traded in Greys Road car park for 15 years until 2005 when he had to close the business and travel to Iran following the death of his father.

He continued to pay his rent for his pitch because he intended to return but when he did so, South Oxfordshire District Council, which owns the car park, said he could no longer trade there.

Now Mr Seylani-Zader, of Tilebarn Close, Henley, wants his trader’s licence reinstated.

Speaking at a meeting of Henley Town Council’s town and community committee, he said: “I made a good strong relationship with people in Henley and did everything the district council asked me to do.
