MILL and Marsh Meadows in Henley have been presented with a Green Flag.
The town council, which owns and manages the riverside beauty spots, first applied for the award last year but narrowly missed out.
Now it has succeeded at the second attempt following an inspection by judges from Keep Britain Tidy, which administers the scheme, in May.
The award recognises green spaces which offer a wide range of facilities and are maintained to a high standard.
The judges called the meadows a “beautiful riverside amenity, open to all, providing a free and safe quality recreational opportunity for visitors of all ages and abilities.”
