THE chairman of Benson’s Millstream Day Centre is to step down, saying he is “unhappy” in the role.
Ian Leppard’s decision follows the centre’s annual meeting, where there were disagreements on the committee over proposed changes to the constitution.
The treasurer has also given notice and there is no vice-chairman.
Mr Leppard, who agreed to stay on until his successor is found, said: “I have decided to step down largely because I have recently become unhappy in the role.
“I am well aware that there are some issues which need resolving and changes are inevitable but there are many different ways to bring in changes.
