Parked cars ‘causing hazard for drivers’

A WOMAN has complained that parked cars in Henley are creating a hazard for drivers.

Sarah Kettell, of Gainsborough Crescent, wrote to the town council saying she regularly witnessed near-misses in both Northfield End and Greys Road.

She said the problem in Northfield End was caused by people parking near the roundabout.

Mrs Kettell said: “Drivers cannot properly see cars from the right and have driven into the roundabout, almost colliding into the side of cars.

“It’s often very busy and lots of people use it as a drop-off area. Parking off the side of a roundabout is never a good idea.”
