PLANS to extend a former bunglow in Wargrave have met with objections from the parish council.
Darren Justice wants to build two-storey extensions on the front, side and rear of the property in Beverley Gardens as well as erecting two new chimneys.
But the council has recommended that planning permission is refused because it believes the extended property would be “too big” and out of keeping with the rest of the street.
Councillor Chez Payne-Annetts said: “It’s one of the last remaining bungalow-effect properties in Beverley Gardens, although it’s currently two storeys with a roof space.
“I’ve worked out that it’s 84sqm now, going up to 121sqm, which is an increase of 44 per cent.
