Vice-chairman is promoted

TONY COTTON has been made chairman of Peppard Parish Council.

Councillor Cotton, who was vice-chairman, takes over from David Hammond, who resigned last month as he is moving to Wiltshire.

He thanked Mr Hammond for his five years’ service, including more than two as chairman.

The council plans to co-opt a new member to fill the vacancy.
