SIX entrance signs to Henley may be changed to mark its twinning agreement with Bled in Slovenia.
Henley Town Council is considering the move and may also add the words “Britain in Bloom finalists” at the bottom of each sign.
Speaking at a meeting of the council’s town and community committee, vice-chairman Pam Phillips said it was an “embarrassment” when visitors from Bled could not see the twinning agreement on display.
Deputy Mayor Jeni Wood said she would prefer to wait and see if Henley was recognised as a Fairtrade town so that could also be added.
Councillor Will Hamilton said he was against mentioning Britain in Bloom or Fairtrade town on the signs as either might quickly become out of date.
