‘Housing’ plots are taken off market

A FIELD near Henley that was being sold for redevelopment has been taken off the market.

The grassland in Greys Green had been divided into 10 plots, two of which were being advertised by Sani Properties, of Milton Keynes.

One measured 6,750 sq ft and had an asking price of £27,500 while the other measured 7,887 sa ft and was available for £36,000.

Sani claimed in an advert on its website that both plots could take up to 10 bedrooms and had potential resale value of £350,000. It described the land, which is immediately west of The Meadow and opposite the golf course, as “spectacular”.

Initially the company claimed that planning permission for housing had been granted but then admitted this was not the case.
