Recycle your Christmas tree

CHRISTMAS trees can be recycled at a number of sites arranged by South Oxfordshire District Council.

CHRISTMAS trees can be recycled at a number of sites arranged by South Oxfordshire District Council.

The locations are as follows: Toad Hall garden centre in Henley, the Tree Barn in Christmas Common, the Herb Farm in Sonning Common, Root One in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell (all until January 12) and the recreation ground car parks in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, Ewelme and Watlingon (from January 9 to January 21).

Garden waste customers can leave their tree next to their brown bin during a garden waste collection week. Customers are asked not to put whole trees inside the bin as they can be difficult to get out again.
