VOLUNTEERS at Peppard War Memorial Hall are to make a presentation at the parish council meeting on Monday.
Members of the hall’s committee want to join forces with the council in managing the venue after chairman Philip Collings announced he was to step down.
The committee has agreed to contribute to the costs of utilities if the hall is included in the council’s precept.
Councillor Hadley Cooper said: “It was thought that closer co-operation could benefit both sets of funds by passing on prospective lessees to each other.”
The committee currently has a treasurer but only an acting secretary and a system of rotating the chairmanship while Mr Collings’ successor is sought.
