AN orangery could be created at the Watlington and District Care home.

Sanctuary Care, which owns the Hill Road home, has applied for planning permission for a 69m² extension with brick and flint walls, timber windows and a slate roof.

Rob Sheward, of KWL Architects, said the orangery would “provide a much- needed space for residents to enjoy a tranquil environment surrounded by lush, mature garden space”.
