POLICE have warned drivers in Wargrave not to park on double yellow lines ahead of a crackdown on offenders.

POLICE have warned drivers in Wargrave not to park on double yellow lines ahead of a crackdown on offenders.

The Twyford neighbourhood team says cars parked illegally will be given a fixed penalty of £30, rising to £45 if not paid within 28 days.

The police warned that from the start of this month they would be ticketing every car parked on double yellow lines as well as taking pictures, which could be used in court if needed.
