THE designated area that will be included in the Sonning Common neighbourhood plan has been legally ratified.
South Oxfordshire District Council has agreed the boundaries with the plan’s working group. It means the plan could be ready to go to a referendum by the end of next year.
Parish clerk Philip Collings said: “This is a big step. It means that we can be much more prescriptive about where new houses are built.”
The working group has shortlisted three potential options, including different combinations of seven sites, to accommodate 138 homes.
