A NEW barn is to be built at a farm in Sonning Common.

Stephen Doble’s plans for the building at Blackmore Farm were approved by South Oxfordshire District Council.

The barn will be used as a farm office and machinery store.

In the last three years, two other barns have been built on the land, which is located in the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. They are used to store hay and straw.

Sonning Common Parish Council did not object to the application.
