RESIDENTS of Peppard will have to pay slightly more for services provided by the parish council.

The parish precept has been set at £27,500 for the year beginning April 1, a 2.25 per cent increase on the current year. This means that a typical Band D householder will pay £30.47 a year, an increase of 24p on last year.

The council has made provision to fund ongoing projects in the village, including the sports pavilion and a new play area and maintenance of the war memorial hall.
