Council say no to shelter

A REQUEST to have a bus shelter installed in Marlow Road, Henley, has been turned down.

A REQUEST to have a bus shelter installed in Marlow Road, Henley, has been turned down.

Penny Hutchinson, who lives at Swiss Farm, asked the town council for the shelter on the south side of the road.

She said: “There are 87 park homes on the Swiss Farm site, most of whom are elderly people, many who use the bus services.”

The council’s traffic advisory committee said there was not enough room for a shelter.
