HENLEY Town Council is experimenting with recording its meetings.

Councillor Ian Reissmann explained to colleagues at last week’s meeting of the finance strategy and management committee that the “odd-looking” device was to make a recording.

Town clerk Mike Kennedy pointed out that it recorded only sound and was not filming, adding: “It’s no good waving at it, Councillor Nimmo Smith!”
