Playground makeover

WORK has begun on the £45,000 refurbishment of a playground in Wargrave.

WORK has begun on the £45,000 refurbishment of a playground in Wargrave.

The facility at the recreation ground off Eastview Road shut today (Friday) and new equipment including a zipwire and swing is expected to be installed by mid-April.

The slide will be kept while a piece of equipment shaped like a train will be moved to the neighbouring Wargrave Pre-School.

The work is being carried out by Playground Facilities, of High Wycombe, and paid for by Wargrave Parish Council.
