SOUTH Oxfordshire District Council is asking residents for their views on how it responded following the fire that effectively destroyed its offices in Crowmarsh in January.

Many services were disrupted, including planning, electoral registration, and environmental health as well as the council?s websites and phone lines.

Chief executive David Buckle said: ?While we got our services back up and running as quickly as possible after the fire, it would be helpful to know what people think we did well and what we could have done differently.?

From the end of May the council staff will move into a temporary office in Milton Park near Didcot.
