I HAVE been a district councillor since 2011 and an on the planning, community governance and community capital grant committees.

Over the past four years I have been a strong voice for Henley at the district council in all matters, including protecting our boundaries, ward name and green belt and keeping our housing allocation low and fair. My role is to be a conduit between Henley Town Council and the district council.

It is impossible to be a good district councillor without being a town councillor as well. I have effectively helped Henley residents with, among other things, housing, council tax and planning problems as I can to speak to the relevant council cfficers on their behalf.

Vote for me and you will be voting for an experienced, determined and articulate councillor with the integrity and confidence to carry forward the wishes of the people of Henley. As an Independent, I am free to vote for what is right for Henley without political restrictions.

Planning has been my main committee. I have had major successes in protecting Henley from adverse planning approvals and in conserving this jewel in South Oxfordshire’s crown.
