Prospective District Councillor - Elizabeth Hodgkin

I HAVE been a district councillor since 2010 and have spent the last five years working

I HAVE been a district councillor since 2010 and have spent the last five years working to help residents with housing, planning, grant applications and any other concerns.

I have built up a good relationship with fellow councillors and officers on the council and work with them to ensure that Henley’s voice is heard. I have been on several working groups and also work with the opposition group to ensure we are kept informed on all matters at the council.

I believe that working with the district and county councisl is the way to get our point across and will continue to work hard on building these relationships. Having been a town councillor for 12 years, I believe I have the knowledge and experience to do this.

I am a trustee of the Thamesfield Youth Association and the Henley Educational Charity and am social secretary and past President of the Town and Visitors’ Regatta. I continue to support the Citizens Advice Bureau, NOMAD and the Over-60s Club.

If re-elected, I would continue working hard to speak for Henley and to give it a voice beyond our boundaries. Henley first, politics last.
