Prospective District Councillor - Will Hall

SINCE being elected four years ago, I have worked hard to ensure Henley stays special.

SINCE being elected four years ago, I have worked hard to ensure Henley stays special.

I have lived in Henley for almost my whole life. I rowed in a Henley rowing club, sang in a local church choir and attended a local school. I firmly believe that Henley is the most beautiful town in the country but that we can make it even better.

As the member responsible for finance on the district council, I delivered one of the largest tax cuts in the country while investing an extra £1million in our key services. I have made sure that the CCTV stays on in Henley and that there is funding to support the neighbourhood plan.

I have chaired the council’s investment scheme in our local communities, with grants for everything from sports clubs to village halls, and will make sure that our community groups continue to be supported.

This year the council has been shortlisted for council of the year, topped the national recycling league tables and put more resources into enforcing planning decisions.

I want to continue to serve Henley so I can make sure air quality is improved, lorries are discouraged and local businesses have a voice. Our town is special and I want to keep it that way.
