Prospective District Councillor - Rob Simister

I HAVE lived in South Oxfordshire for more than 10 years with my wife and two teenage daughters.

I HAVE lived in South Oxfordshire for more than 10 years with my wife and two teenage daughters.

Now working in IT as a business development director,  my first job upon leaving education at 16 was on a Youth Training Scheme and I have also worked at various roles such as a sales assistant and as a van driver.

I feel I can exploit this varied experience to represent all walks of life in our community.

As the current councillor for Kidmore End and Mapledurham parishes, I am looking forward to also working for Whitchurch and Goring Heath when the new ward boundary changes happen in May.

I am passionate about planning matters and where building is necessary, I am committed to fighting for developments to be of high quality and fit for purpose.

I was brought up to believe in personal responsibility, hard work, respect and fairness and I hope I am given the opportunity to represent the Kidmore End and Whitchurch ward.
