Prospective District Councillor - Anna Badcock

I LIVE in Watlington and am married with three boys. I work as a public relations consultant and am leader of the local beaver scout group.

I am standing for re-election to carry on my hard work to get local voices and concerns heard and acted upon.

I know the problems and issues you face because my family and I face them every day too.

I have fought for and achieved fewer illegal lorries travelling through Watlington and I will continue to fight for this as there is still much more that can be done to reduce the number further still, with the aim of one day stopping this illegal cut-through completely.

I fought for and got better broadband provision for this ward and large parts have already been included in the county council upgrade thanks to district council money, which I proposed and fought for.

But many villages and hamlets still don’t have sufficient broadband and I will continue to fight for a better provision for this area.

We also face the possibility of further building development and I will fight for the right development with the supporting infrastructure we need and want for our community in the future.
