I AM 58 and married to Mary with two sons, two stepchildren and five grandchildren. I work as a company secretary and have lived in Goring for more than eight years.

I am currently the local county councillor and sit on Goring Parish Council too.

I was a quantity surveyor and spent many years in the construction industry, which gave me lots of experience running projects to a tight budget. I also ran an IT department for a time in a varied career.

I’ve grown to love this area (it turns out a family member lived here148 years ago) and I intend to do my best to keep the things we treasure while making sure we look to the future.

I don’t believe that party politics have any place on the parishcouncil, It should be about building consensus for the best result for the village.

We all have the village’s best interest at heart even if we disagree over the answer. The current parish council has worked hard to be business like and collegial in its approach and as the longest continuously serving members, I’d like to provide some continuity for the village.
