BENSON Parish Council has objected to plans to replace eight windows at Old Swan, a Grade II listed building in

BENSON Parish Council has objected to plans to replace eight windows at Old Swan, a Grade II listed building in Preston Crowmarsh.

Although the same style of hardwood would be used, the council objected on the grounds of the loss of “historic fabric”.

Councillor Rob Workman said the existing windows were single–glazed but the applicant wanted to fit double –glazing.
