PEPPARD Parish Council has co-opted a new member.

PEPPARD Parish Council has co-opted a new member.

Tony Rancombe, from Peppard Common, was unanimously accepted on to the council at a meeting last week.

He has lived in the village for 24 years, having previously lived in Henley and Shiplake.

Mr Rancombe is a member of the conservators for Peppard Common and the Peppard Revels.

He is an expert in strategic planning as he worked in feasibility planning for towns and cities professionally.

He said: “One thing I would like to see is the parish be more effective when working with Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council.”
