A BUSINESSMAN has been ordered to stop using a former pub as his home.

A BUSINESSMAN has been ordered to stop using a former pub as his home.

Satwinder Sandhu lost his appeal for retrospective planning permission to live at the White Lion in Crays Pond.

He bought the pub from Greene King after it shut in 2013 and began converting it into a family home.

South Oxfordshire District Council ordered him to lodge a planning application, which it rejected before issuing an enforcement notice.

There will be a full report in next week's Henley Standard.
