Council consults on Sunday trading

SOUTH Oxfordshire District Council is running a public consultation on Sunday trading laws.

SOUTH Oxfordshire District Council is running a public consultation on Sunday trading laws.

Larger shops could have their hours extended under government proposals to devolve trading laws to local councils.

At the moment, they can only open from 10am to 6pm while smaller shops can stay open all day. The consultation ends on September 10.
