No to flue

PLANS for a single-storey rear extension and extract flue in the roof of a Henley restaurant

PLANS for a single-storey rear extension and extract flue in the roof of a Henley restaurant have been recommended for refusal due to noise.

Henley Town Council’s planning committee discussed the application for Cafe Le Raj in Reading Road.

Councillor Sam Evans said: “This came before us years ago and the neighbours were up in arms about it. It does concern me — extraction flues are frighteningly loud.”
