Makeover for toilets

TWO public conveniences in Henley are to be refurbished.

TWO public conveniences in Henley are to be refurbished.

The toilets at the station will be upgraded in the next few weeks and the ones in Greys Road car park will follow in the new year.

South Oxfordshire District Council, which is responsible for both, has budgeted £5,000 for artist Elaine Tribley to “brighten up” the blocks.

She is going to consult commnunity groups such as the Henley Society and Henley in Bloom as well as local schools about possible ideas.
