New barn plan

A 40-METRE long curved roof Dutch barn could be built in Britwell Salome

A 40-METRE long curved roof Dutch barn could be built in Britwell Salome.

John Mears wants to construct the building, which would be seven metres high to its ridge, at Red Lion Farm.

A planning statement from agent Ian Savagar said: “The proposed traditional barn is to complement the adjacent grain store providing covered storage for straw currently stored without cover.”

South Oxfordshire District Council will make a decision on the planning application by November 5.
