Signs warning

UNLAWFUL signs in Peppard are set to be removed by the parish council.

UNLAWFUL signs in Peppard are set to be removed by the parish council.

Councillors have agreed to take action if a request to remove an unauthorised sign is ignored for seven days.

A note will be put on the council’s website saying where a sign that has been removed can be collected from and if it is not claimed within another seven days the sign will be destroyed.

Parish clerk Linda Collison said she believed the council had delegated powers from Oxfordshire County Council to remove unlawful signage.
