TESCO is to hold two public exhibitions about its new plans to open a shop at a former Goring pub.
The supermarket chain is to submit a planning application to convert the former Queen’s Arms in Reading Road into a convenience store.
The exhibitions will be held at the village community centre on November 27 from 3pm to 7pm and November 28 from 11am to 2pm.
The pub shut in 2013 and Tesco bought it secretly.
Residents have opposed plans for the store, saying it would affect Goring’s independent businesses and that the site is unsuitable due to the narrow pavement.
